Welcome to the Art department.
Our aims are to inspire and challenge students through a broad and balanced curriculum, ensuring they achieve exciting and thoughtful outcomes; engaging and equipping them with the knowledge and skills to participate in, experiment with, invent and create their own works of art, craft and design. A high-quality education in art will teach students the benefits of mistakes so they can improve their skills, and the benefit of practice in order to embed knowledge. At the end of each key stage students are ready for their next stage of education whether it be in school or out into the wider world.
