Our Christian Vision

We want all of our community to have equal opportunities to experience life in all its fulness (John 10:10). We encourage all community members to “be the best we can be” in every
aspect of their lives as we grow in, and reflect on, the Christian virtues of Faith, Hope and Love (1 Corinthians 13)

Our vision is encapsulated by the school prayer and our daily practiced virtues:

Every day we ask all members of our school community to reflect on how they, and each other, have practiced and grown in these virtues:

Our Christian & Shared Values

St. Augustine’s is an inclusive, happy and vibrant learning community that aims to ensure that every student achieves and experiences as much joy as possible during their time with us.

By working in partnership with parents and carers we have confidence that our students will practice courage and perseverance in achieving their hopes and aspirations. However, we also recognise that young adults need to build character from within and have good role models. We support this through promoting explicit Christian values which are linked to our school saints:

Sixth Form Open Evening for all Year 11 Applicants (Both Internal and External)

The St Augustine’s Church of England High School Sixth Form Open Evening will take place on Tuesday 12th October 2023 from 5.00pm until 6.30pm

Our annual Sixth Form Open Evening is a chance for current Year 11 (both internal and external) students and parent/carers to visit our inclusive and values driven school, with outstanding post 19 destinations, and meet our amazing staff and students.

You will have an opportunity to see our school and talk to our current post-16 students about life at St. Augustine’s Sixth Form. Our sixth form leaders will deliver a presentation at set times throughout the evening. Subject teachers will be with their departments to answer any questions you may have about our wide academic and vocational offer. No reservation is required.

We very much look forward to welcoming you all to our school community.
