Dress Code

Our Sixth Form students are role models and leaders. Therefore, we do expect our sixth formers to dress in a smart, clean and presentable manner, similar to how you would in an office or place of work.

The following guidance is applicable to all sixth formers throughout their time at St Augustine’s. Year 12 students are reminded of expectations at the start of term and in regular Year Team meetings, alongside expectations concerning punctuality, attendance, directed study time and leadership responsibilities.

  • No caps, bandanas, or hats to be worn at any time in school.​
  • No hoodies or sports jackets to be worn at any time.​
  • Outdoor clothing must be removed when in school.​
  • Students studying Sport may wear their school track kit. Otherwise, no sportswear is allowed.
  • Black jeans are allowed, providing they are not ripped.​
  • Fully black or white trainers allowed. No colours are permitted, including sole
Sixth Form Open Evening for all Year 11 Applicants (Both Internal and External)

The St Augustine’s Church of England High School Sixth Form Open Evening will take place on Tuesday 12th October 2023 from 5.00pm until 6.30pm

Our annual Sixth Form Open Evening is a chance for current Year 11 (both internal and external) students and parent/carers to visit our inclusive and values driven school, with outstanding post 19 destinations, and meet our amazing staff and students.

You will have an opportunity to see our school and talk to our current post-16 students about life at St. Augustine’s Sixth Form. Our sixth form leaders will deliver a presentation at set times throughout the evening. Subject teachers will be with their departments to answer any questions you may have about our wide academic and vocational offer. No reservation is required.
