Year 4 and 5 Taster Days at St Augustine’s

Year 4 and 5 Taster Day

On Wednesday 2nd April 2025, we had nearly 200 Year 4 and 5 students from St Augustine’s Primary School, Essendine Primary, Kilburn Park and St Saviours come and spend a day at St Augustine’s High School. Students were able to get a taste of secondary school, going to lessons across a range of different subjects, such as Business, Social Science, Graphics, English, Maths, Science Art, History, Geography, Religious Studies and Modern Foreign Languages.  We had our Year 11 and Year 12 student leaders supporting the Year 4 and 5 students to ensure that any questions were answered and they could also support with navigating a secondary school building! As St Augustine’s is celebrating our 155th Birthday this academic year, we also got all the students involved in a practical cake decorating session in the afternoon!
