If your child cannot attend school, you must call the attendance line directly on 0207 328 3434 and press option 1. Please leave your child’s full name, form group and reason for absence very clearly so that we can record the registers accurately.
If you have any evidence to support your child’s absence, for example, a hospital letter or appointment text, please also send this to your child’s Pastoral Year Coordinator and the Attendance Officer. This will ensure that your child’s register is then recorded accurately.
If you do not provide any valid reason for your child’s absence, then this may trigger a referral to the local authority for unauthorised absence.
