Year 11 Parent/Carers’ Evening 2

We are pleased to invite all Year 11 Parent/Carers to attend the second and final Y11 Parent/Carers’ Evening for your son/daughter on Thursday 18th January 2024 (4.30pm-7.00pm) here at St. Augustine’s.
The first Y11 Parent/Carers’ Evening in October was extremely well attended and enabled parents/carers a really valuable chance to gain in person feedback about their child’s academic progress. This second Parent/Carers’ Evening is another crucial opportunity to have an up-to-date discussion prior to the run up to the GCSE exam season. Advice around established strengths and areas for development, intervention and support will be given by your child’s subject teachers. Students in Year 11 have now nearly completed the majority of their taught curriculum as well as taken part in various formal assessments and mocks. Therefore, information you and your child will receive on the evening will be accurate and timely.
As per the previous Parent/Carers’ Evening, we continue to use the SchoolCloud electronic booking system for all in person appointments. The system enables parents/carers to easily book and view their appointments without the need for paper slips. It also provides teachers with the ability to manage their appointments effectively and allows the school to monitor engagement.
All parents and carers of students in Year 11 will receive an email invite to the SchoolCloud system later today. All subjects will be available for appointments and once you log in using your registered email, you can select the time you would like to meet your child’s teachers. The appointments are allocated on a first come, first served basis and are approximately 5+ minutes in length.
The appointment system will go live on Friday 5th January 2024 at 7.00pm and will close at 3.00pm on Thursday 18th January 2024.
