Update from St Augustine’s 3rd June 2020

Dear Parents and Carers

I do hope that this letter finds you well and that you had a good half term break. I can imagine that you will have been relieved to have had a pause in on-line schooling!

I hope this letter is a helpful update on what we are doing as a school.

Children of Key workers and vulnerable children

School remains open for these children and we are averaging about 8 children each day. There is a strong emphasis on social distancing and following Public Health England’s guidelines regarding hygiene practice.

Years 7, 8 and 9

The Government have not identified a time when these students will be invited to attend the school site. This means that we would like to continue to emphasise the importance of the home learning programme.
