Free School Meals Information and Advice

Edenred - National Voucher Scheme
Edenred UK are working with the Department for Education’s National Voucher Scheme to deliver supermarket vouchers to families eligible for free school meals. Families who qualify will receive a weekly £15 voucher per child which can be spent in one of six supermarkets. An email with instructions to redeem your eCode for an e-Gift Card will be sent to the family’s Primary contact.

You will receive this support

  • An eCode that you can redeem online from a selection of supermarket eGift cards, if the school has a working email address for you, or;
  • If you do not have an email address or access to the internet, the school will print off the voucher, or ‘eGift card’, and post it to your home address, or arrange a collection if easy and safe to do so.

We are aware that there are some delays in processing the eCodes at the moment, and we are doing all we can to ensure our families are supported during these challenging times. It is therefore important that the family’s primary contact details are up to date so that eCodes can be sent to the email we hold for you, or to make alternative arrangements... read more here.
