We were delighted to welcome our new Form Captains & Deputies to the first School Council of the new academic year. Each form is represented, meaning there are 72 student leaders eligible to attend this important meeting, vital in ensuring our students have their voice heard.
Last night's agenda saw a range of proposals discussed, debated & voted on including- communication in school, playground equipment & activities, more green space & recycling bins, more visible menus for lunch & break time & different sports to trial in PE lessons. The Council was chaired by Head Student Ali & Deputy Fatimah, with Year 12 leaders also supporting discussion. There was an incredibly positive atmosphere & ideas will now be taken forward for discussion with Mr Moriarty & the relevant committees. We thank everyone for their involvement.
