Arrangements for the Start of the New Academic Year

Dear Parent/Carer,
We do hope that you have all enjoyed a wonderful and restful summer holiday and that our students
are as excited as we are to return to the new school year.

We thought it would be helpful to remind our families of a few key pieces of information.
Start Date Reminder

We are looking forward to welcoming back students next week. Please see below for start dates by
year groups.

  • Year 7 - Monday, 6th September
  • Years 8, 9 & 10 - Wednesday, 8th September
  • Years 11, 12 & 13 - Tuesday, 7th September

Asymptomatic COVID Testing at School
You may have heard that schools all over the country will be offering on-site asymptomatic COVID19 testing to all students before we return to school in September. In order for students to be tested
at school, they must give consent, even if they have given consent before. Thank you to those who
have already given consent. If you have not and you would like to have your child tested at school,
please complete this form for each child you have at school. Please see this letter for more

Up to one third of people who have coronavirus are asymptomatic. By testing we will help to reduce
the spread in school through asymptomatic transmission. I am therefore strongly encouraging those
returning to school to be tested.

Pay360 for Ties, Badges & School Meals
The school is no longer using Wisepay. You will have received an email inviting you to register for
Pay360. Every parent/carer needs to sign up. It is the only way to add money to your child’s school
meal balance. If you do not see the invitation email, please check your junk/spam folder. If you still
can not see the email, please contact us via email ( or phone (02073283434)... read more here.
