Uniform

St Augustine’s uniform is compulsory and we remain strict about this. Students who come to school without full uniform will be sent home.

  • Black shoes, black soles and black laces. (no hybrids)
  • Black formal trousers, not tight fitting. Black skirt modest length.
  • White shirt buttoned up to the collar and tucked into the trousers or skirt.
  • Royal blue V-neck jumper, V-neck cardigan.
  • A school tie (there are different ties for KS3 and 4)
  • A black blazer with the school badge (the badges are available for purchase from school).
  • Headscarves should be plain black, white or royal blue.
  • Hairbands/scrunches and anything used to hold your hair back must be in royal blue, black or white.

Please Note: jeans, jean style trousers and cords are not acceptable. Shoes should be sensible black shoes. Canvas or trainer type footwear is not permitted. Trainers may be worn for sports activities only.

St Augustine's PE Kit

PE kit is a white polo shirt, navy blue track suit plain. Royal blue shorts, white socks
All uniform items can be purchased from high street suppliers, except ties and our school badge for blazers; these are available for purchase from school.

Jewellery

Only a watch and earrings are permitted. Students wearing earrings must only have one small pair of plain gold or silver studs and worn only in the ear lobes.

Haircuts should be appropriate for a school environment e.g.- no lines, patterns, Mohican styles and hair should be the student’s natural hair colour.

Make-up, nail polish, hooded tops, caps and bandanas are not allowed in school.
